Clarion Call: October 2026

Steve Paysen Ministries Newsletter

I hope this newsletter finds you living in the will of God and making disciples that one day we will spend eternity in heaven, together with Jesus. Since our last newsletter which was sent out at the end of August, we have been quite busy traveling almost 6000 miles to preach the gospel. That is equivalent to driving from the East Coast to the West and back to the East Coast again!

We have seen 108 lives forever changed! We have preached the gospel in Bremen, Georgia where we saw 13 people give their life to Christ. We preached the gospel in Anniston, Alabama when we saw 8 people give their life to Christ. We preached in Monroe Georgia where we saw 54 people give their life to Christ. We preached in Sarcoxie, Missouri where we saw 13 people give their left to Christ and we preached in Brandon Mississippi where we saw another 10 people give their life to Christ, we also preached the gospel in Pineville, Kentucky three times where we saw 10 people give their life to Christ. This is why we go!

Needless to say we have seen God move in a mighty way in many different locations, not just lost people being saved, but also the hearts of many believers were stirred and challenged to reach their friends for Christ. I don’t say this to bring fear to your heart, but to bring urgency to your mind that our days are getting shorter until the coming of Christ and when He comes according to Hebrews 9:28 the author says “so Christ also having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.” The great Pastor of the People’s Church, Oswald Smith once said: “we spend much time telling people about the second coming of Christ without ever telling them about the first coming.”

We are committed to go wherever we are called and face whatever resistance we must face to tell everyone that Jesus Christ came and lived among us sinless, suffered and died in our place at Calvary, receiving upon himself the full wrath of God that we deserved, he was buried and raised again to walk among his disciples and other people to complete the work that was necessary for us to spend eternity with Him and our Father in Heaven. We are grateful for the opportunity to go, and we are grateful you have helped to send us.

But I must say the time is urgent and this cause cannot be neglected, we must go and tell others, we must exhaust ourselves going and telling the GOOD NEWS! As you read the rest of this letter, my prayer is that you will hear from God and that you will be found both obedient and generous to what He calls you to do in order to help us to continue to go.

Please pray for us, consider helping us financially and joining us on the mission field. Julie’s role will be to manage a missions resource center in Middlesboro, Kentucky on a former church property that was donated to New Heights Church. Her role will consist of recruiting the churches where I preach, to bring a mission team to serve in Bell County. She will also coordinate with other nonprofits to help provide basic needs for the children in the schools in Bell County. For reference Bell County, Kentucky is in the top 1% of impoverished communities in the nation; they are classified as a “distressed community” by the Appalachian Regional Commission. The annual median income in Bell County is $31k, $20,000 less than in Stephens County, Georgia where we live now. We have been part of the ministry to this population through New Heights Church for the last 13 years.

We announced to our board in January 2026, as of July 1, 2026, Julie was resigning from the chamber and joining me in the effort to intensify our Gospel impact on the world. Obviously, this decision has certainly had an impact our income and our ministry expenditure. As you read through this report, please pray the results you read about will be multiplied in the coming years of serving our Lord and Savior. Julie and I both also came to the conclusion the Lord was calling us to a new place of local ministry, we have always been willing to go wherever the Lord has called us to go, and He made it very evident that we were to move our home to Bell County Kentucky, where we have been serving on mission for 13 years in partnership with New Heights Church in Middlesboro. P230 Foundation‘s ministry base will remain in Stephens County, GA under the leadership of our Board of Directors and we will operate from Bell County Kentucky. This transition is both difficult and exciting as we have been here for almost 20 years loving and serving our community and church. However, hearing the voice of God, calling us to make such a drastic change, brings a fresh excitement in our Gospel journey. We have seen many souls saved this year; we believe that 2027 will be the biggest harvest year ever in our ministry. First, because our calendar is booking up. Secondly, we are seeing the people in the pews are hungrier to hear the truth and to respond to the Gospel. Thirdly, the Lord is opening doors only He could open, which gives us confidence if He’s calling, He’s getting ready to do a work.

“How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in Him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?” Romans 10:14

We need your help with completing this mission, please prayerfully consider contributing to these needs:

1.Julie’s supplemented salary - Julie opted to take her Social Security this year, so she can make $24,000/ year on top of her S.S. Please help P230 to compensate her in this way. This is in addition to my $60k annual salary.

2.Travel expenses - travel is getting more expensive because of gas and hotel prices. These are expenses we cannot avoid. Please help P230 to help us cover these expenses.

3.Ministry Partnerships - individual ministries that we are coming alongside: Pineville Community Church, that is being fostered back to health by New Heights and Steve Paysen Ministries. We are helping them with minor renovations to their facility as well as helping them weekly minister to their Community, I will be preaching there on most of my open dates. We are budgeting $10,000 to this cause in 2027 with the hopes this Church will once again thrive and be an agent of change in the Pineville Kentucky area. P230 Foundation is our sending organization, and we have the privilege of partnering with and financially supporting other missionaries: Noah and Vicky Smith missionaries with Wycliffe Ministries, James & Stephanie Martinez Church Planters with 242 Coffee Ministries, T & J serving in the Middle East.

4. Bibles2Border-each year we commit at least 5000 Bibles to be sent to the border in Matamoras Mexico; Juarez, Mexico and Ensenada Mexico in partnership with Ebenezer Baptist Church. This comes at a cost of at least $24,000 a year. Please pray about joining us in this endeavor.

5.Nicaragua- we still have much work to do in Nicaragua including planting and building a new church that we have previously had designated funds provided to build with. We are budgeting $5000 for several trips to Nicaragua including 2027.

Please pray for us as we begin the process of moving our family to Kentucky in the summer of 2027, allowing Eli to finish his 10th grade year here and us time to get our house ready to sell.

Please also pray about joining our team of financial supporters as we fill SOME of the gap we have given up with Julie’s departure from the Chamber of Commerce to join Steve Paysen Ministries full-time. There are so many details to be shared in the near future, but the Lord is already moving in a mighty way! Thank you foryour prayers and financial support.
